Day 1: Arrive Bangalore

Arrive into Bangalore
Welcome to your "Religious Tour of South India"!
On arrival in Bangalore, you will be met and transferred by Vardhman's representative
to your hotel. Bangalore-Beautiful city filled with the tranquility of its
Greenery and now part of great Silicone valley. Relax for the remaining
part of the day.

Day 2: Bangalore
Morning after breakfast, proceed for sight-seeing of Bangalore Visit Cubbon
park, Lalbagh, Tipuâ's fort, Government museum, Venkatappa Art Gallery,
Bull temple, Viswesvaraya Industrial and Technological museum, Ganesh
temple, Gandhi Bhavan, Ulsoor Tank, Gavipuram Cave Temple, St. Mary's
Basilica Church, Auqarium, and a number of other places around the city.
This beautiful city lends its name to the district of Bangalore to which
the city is perceivably the capital of the state. Bangalore is also called
as Garden city due to its well laid parks and gardens.

Day 3: Bangalore - Mysore
This morning drive to Mysore (Called Garden city) stands by a rocky hill
named after the goddess Chamundi. It is the city of Palaces and museums.
On route to Mysore, visit island fortress of Srirangapatnam, the capital
of Hyder Ali and his son Tipu Sultan, Tipu's Palace, Gumbaz, Tipu's Summer
Palace.
On reaching Mysore, transfer to a hotel and visit illuminated Vrindavan
gardens and Krishnarajasagar dam in the evening.

Day 4: Mysore
After breakfast proceed on a city tour of Mysore.
Visit Maharaja Palace built as recently as 1897, which is one of the
biggest in India;St Philomena's Church etc.; Sri Jauyachamarajendra Art
Gallery housed in the Jagmohan Palace, which has a collection of exquisite
paintings, Folklore museum.

Day 5: Mysore - Chikmanglur
Early morning drive to the beautiful town of Chikmagalur. Nestled in the
Baba Budan hills, Chikmagalur is a calm, serene town full of scenic surprises
.hills, valleys, streams and snow-white coffee blossoms. On arrival, check-in
at your pre-booked hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 6: Chikmagalur - Hospet
Morning visit Belavadi and Coffee plantation in Chikmagalur.
Belavadi: The pilgrimage of Belavadi is dotted with a number of ancient
temples and shrines. The Veeranarayana temple is a supreme example of
Hoysala temple architecture.
Coffee Plantations: Sprawling coffee plantations dot the landscape of
this hill station. As a major coffee producing hub of the country, it
hosts a number of coffee curing centers where the raw coffee is dried,
shelled, winnowed, graded and packed. When coffee bushes blossom in April,
the whole area is filled with the exquisite fragrance of the brilliant
white flowers. The Central Coffee Research Institute is located in the
district.
Later drive to Hospet. On arrival, check-in at the hotel for an overnight
stay.

Day 7: Hospet - Badami
Half day tour of Hampi, the ruins of Vijayanagar Empire. Tourist attractions
in Hampi including sacred temples, magnificent palaces and other royal
structures.
Lotus Mahal
A synthesis of the Hindu and Muslim styles of architecture. High on aesthetics,
this elegant structure has two levels, with open pavilions at the bottom
and balconies above. Lotus Mahal derives its name from its beautiful,
geometrically arranged cusped arches that resemble the petals of a flower
opening to the sun.
Vithala Temple
Located on the southern banks of the Tungabhadra River, the Vithala temple
is another imposing structure amidst the ruins. The large Ranga Mantapa
of the temple has 56 musical pillars that resound with musical notes when
struck. In the temple courtyard stands a magnificent stone chariot, so
perfectly proportioned that the stone wheels actually rotate.
Virupaksha Temple
The majestic Virupaksha temple stands proudly amidst the ruins of Hampi.
While the city of Hampi was pillaged by marauding invaders, the Virupaksha
temple stood erect and worship continued throughout the ages. The deity
of Virupaksheshwara or Pampapathi, an incarnation of Lord Shiva, is worshipped
here.
Later in the afternoon drive to Badami (103 km). Reach and check into
your hotel. In the afternoon visit Aihole and Pattadakal. Patadkal TemplesU,
NESCO World Heritage Site:The second capital of the Chalukya dynasty after
Aihole, Pattadakal's magnificent 8th-century temples epitomize the zenith
of Chalukyan architecture. The sacred temple complex of Pattadakal consists
of 10 major temples, each resplendent with beautifully textured carvings
and pillars. The impressive temple structures of Pattadakal are a confluence
of the North Indian and South Indian temple architecture styles.

Day 8: Poovar
Day trip to visit Badami Caves and Badami Fort.
Badami Caves temples: Perched a top a flight of 200 steps, the temple
complex consists of four ancient rock-cut caves replete with carved pillars
and bracket figures. Of the four temples, three are Brahmanical temples
while the fourth one is a Jain cave. The third cave temple, dedicated
to Lord Vishnu, stands out among the lot for its sheer size and sculptural
elegance.
Badami Fort: An uneven, steep and winding flight of steps between caves
2 and 3 lead to the imposing Badami fort. Within the ramparts of the fort,
nestle a large granary, an underground chamber which must have served
as a treasury or private audience hall and many other architectural marvels.
The fort, whose chief attraction is the Tipu's cannon, also houses a carved
temple raised on top of the northern end of the hill.

Day 9: Badami - Goa
On the day 9 of your tour drive to Goa (198 km),a marvelous place and
its beaches provide such a mesmerizing view that it is surely going to
leave the tourists awestruck. On arrival, check-in at the hotel. Afternoon
at leisure for your own activities.

Full day free for Leisure activities on the beach.

Day 11: Goa - Mumbai
Morning after breakfast transfer to Goa airport to board flight for Mumbai.
On arrival at Mumbai Airport transfer to Mumbai international airport
to board flight for onward journeys with sweet and pleasant memories of
