Welcome to Vardhman's " Rajasthan with South India Tour "! On
arrival in Delhi, you will be met and transferred by Vardhman's representative
to your hotel.

Day 02: Delhi
This morning after a leisurely breakfast we will proceed for the sightseeing
of Delhi.
Combined city tour of New Delhi & Old Delhi
Visit Qutab Minar, Humayun's tomb, Lakshminarayan Temple, a modern Hindu
Temple, Parliament House, Government Secretarial Building and Connaught
place, the shopping centre of New Delhi.
Visit Red Fort, built in 1648 by Mughal Emperor Shahjehan, Jama Masjid,
one of the largest Mosque of India, Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana, the cremation
sites of Mahatama Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru. Also drive past Chandni
Chowk, shopping centre of Old Delhi.

Day 03: Delhi - Jaipur
After breakfast drive to Jaipur and transfer to hotel.
City tour of Jaipur
This morning you will experience the wonders of this magicial pink city,
as you proceed on a tour of Amber fort. Later visit the Jagmandir or the
Hall of victory glitterning with mirrors, Maharaja's City Palace and the
Observatory. Drive past Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds and through
the rose pink residential and business areas of Jaipur.

Day 04: Jaipur - Pushkar
Morning after breakfast visit the majestic Amber Fort where you ride
up on elephants back to the former capital of the royals set against the
backdrop of wooded hills. Later explore shopping centres of jaipur and
drive to Pushkar.
Arrive Pushkar and check inn to your hotel.
Evening enjoy the camel Fair.

Enjoy the various events and activities in Pushkar fair the whole day.

Day 06: Pushkar - Udaipur
After breakfast drive to Udaipur (the Venice of the east).

Boat Cruise on Lake Pichola
Visit the City Palace, Jagdish Temple, drive around Fatehsagar Lake, Sahelion
ki Bari (Queen resort for her friends) and Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir (Folk
Art Museum)
Boat curise on Lake Pichola 4km long and 3km broad, surrounded by splendid
hills, Palaces, temples bathing ghats and embankments

Day 08: Udaipur - Mt.Abu via Ranakpur
Morning drive to the only hill resort of Rajasthan Mt.Abu enroute
visiting the famous Jain temples of Ranakpur.
Arrive Mt.Abu and check inn to your hotel.
Evening at leisure.

Day 09: Mt.Abu - Jodhpur
Morning at leisure to enjoy the scenic beauty of this hill station.
After lunch transfer to Jodhpur.

This day of your tour proceed on a City tour of Jodhpur
This morning drive to the Jodhpur and check into your hotel.
Visit the Mehrangarh Fort, situated on a low sandstone hill, including
Moti Mahal and Phool Mahal. Also visit Jaswant Thada, an imposing marble
memorium built in 1899 and the Museum located in the Umaid Public gardens.

Day 11: Jodhpur - Jaisalmer
Morning drive to Jaisalmer situated deep in the heart of the Thar
desert. Arrive Jaisalmer and shortly after lunch visit the Chhatris of
Maharwals and later Camel ride at Sam for sunset.

Day 12: Jaisalmer - Bikaner
This morning drive to Bikaner and transfer to hotel.
Visit Bikaner
Bikaner is named after its founder Rao Bikaji in 1488. Long before this,
the city was a trade center on the caravan routes from Africa and West
Asia. Bikaners dominant features are rippling sands and abundant
sunshine. The city stands on an elevation, enclosed by a 7 kms. wall,
which can be entered from 5 gates. Bikaner City is bolstered by imposing
walls and has a 16th century fort housing old palaces, temples and mosque.
Founded by Raja Rai Singh, the fort is distinguished by its long range
of 37 pavilions, a line of balconies and aerial windows of varying designs.
Also visit Lallgarh Palace, the museum, Bhanda Sagar Jain and Deshnoke
Rat temple.

Day 13: Bikaner - Mandawa
After breakfast transfer to Mandawa and transfer to hotel.
Visit Mandawa
Afternoon visit Mandwa, founded in 1755 by Thakur Nawal Singh and still
the home of his descendants. See beautiful frescoes, havelis and mansions.
Mandawa castle, one of the finest castles of Rajasthan, is now a hotel
and house of collections of armories, costumes of ancestors, canons from
1820, ancient coins, numismatic collection and many other interesting
items, preserved in a museum.
A walking tour of the painted 'havelis' of some of the leading business
families of the country.

Day 14: Mandawa - Bharatpur
Drive to Bharatpur (famous for Keoladeo Ghana Bird Sanctuary).
Evening make a visit to the sanctuary.
Overnight: Hotel.
Day 15: Bharatpur - Agra
Early morning make a visit to the sanctuary to see the birds in their
natural habitat.
After breakfast drive down to Agra
City tour of Agra
Visit Taj Mahal (Closed on Friday) , Red fort & Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daula.
Later you will visit a marble gallery - the flagship store in Agra which
offers an excellant range of white marble, fashionable wear & exotic
wooden articles, truly a one stop shop!

Day 16: Agra - Delhi - Madras (Chennai)
Morning transfer to Delhi domestic airport to connect flight to Madras.
Arrive Madras in the evening and check in to your hotel.
Overnight: Hotel.
Day 17: Madras
Today enjoy Full day city tour of Madras which includes visit to the
Snake park and Kapaleeswara temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and the museum
etc.

Day 18: Madras - Tanjore
Morning drive to Tanjore and check in to your hotel. Evening at leisure.

Day 19: Tanjore - Madurai
Morning start the tour of Tanjore visiting the Brihadeshwara Temple,
a typical architecture from the 11th century. Later visit the Saraswati
Mahal Library. After lunch depart for Madurai ,

Day 20: Madurai - Periyar
Morning visit the world famous Meenakshi Sundereshwara temple, a huge
Dravidian temple complex. After lunch depart for Periyar wild life sanctuary.
Arrive Periyar in the evening and check inn hotel.

Day 21: Periyar - Alleppey
Later drive to reach the small beautiful town of Alleppey situated
on the backwaters of Kerala.After arriving at Alleppey, board the beautifully
decorated houseboats & enjoy a cruise along the famous backwaters
of Alleppey. Spend the next 24 hours in your floating villa. Enjoy the
backwaters of Kerala by getting a glimpse of the village life from a close
quarter. Enjoy the sunset and stay overnight on the houseboat. The stay
includes all three meals i.e. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. It will definitely

Day 22: Alleppey - Cochin
This morning houseboat comes to halt then drive to Cochin. Arrive
Cochin and visit the Chinese fishing nets in the backwaters of Cochin.

Today enjoy Sea boat ride to visit various Islands and Churches, Santa
cruz Basilica, Mattancherry Palace, Jewish synagogue, Dutch palace, St.
Franchis etc.

Day 24: Cochin - Coimbatore
After breakfast drive to Coimbatore also called the " Manchester
of South India ".
Arrive by lunch and soon after lunch visit the Maruthamalai temple.

Day 25: Coimbatore - Ooty
Morning drive to the queen of hill stations, Ooty known for its salubrious
climate and scenic beauty.
On arrival check into your hotel.
Rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 26: Ooty - Mysore
Morning depart for Mysore, wonderful historic town and evidence city
to exhibit the oldest Indian richest economy. Later proceed on a sightseeing
of Mysore.
Visit the Mysore Palace, once the capital seat of power of the ruling
Wodeyars. Also visit the Brindavan Garden, Chamundeeswri temple, Tipu's
summer palace etc.

Day 27: Mysore - Belur - Halebid
On the day 27th of your tour transfer to Belur, the superbly preserved
Chennkesava Temple here is a tribute to the skill and genius of the medieval
craftsman. On arrival check into your Hotel. Later visit Halebid temple
10 kms.

Day 28: Belur - Bangalore-Mumbai
Today morning drive to Bangalore Airport to catch flight to Mumbai.
Arrive Mumbai in the evening and transfer to your hotel. Relax for the
rest of day.

After breakfast proceed for a half day city tour of Mumbai.
Visit Kamla Nehru park, Hanging gardens situated on the slopes of Malabar
hill offering a panoramic view of Marine Drive and Chawpatty beach, Prince
of wales museum, Mani Bhawan, Dhobi Ghat, Gateway of India and drive through
the Crawford market.
In the evening transfer to International airport to board the flight for
